Heather Ascott-King
Heather Ascott-King is a Winston-Salem, NC native. She earned a BS degree from North Carolina A&T State in 1993. That same year, Heather officially began working for Frank Ascott Nationwide Insurance Agency. Heather served as the Operations Manager and helped grow the agency to a total of 11 agency locations. During this time she completed compliance audits as well as employee training and management at all locations. Her efforts built Frank Ascott agencies into one of the largest Nationwide agencies in
the country.
Heather went on to obtain a Certified Insurance Service Representative designation (CISR) and later earned an MBA from Strayer University.
In addition to being a veteran in the insurance industry, Heather spent part of her career working for the NC Department of Insurance Consumer Services department as a Life & Health Insurance Complaint Analyst where she enjoyed helping consumers with health and life insurance policy complaints. She also worked for BCBSNC in Winston-Salem as the Medicare
Appeals Instructional Designer/Trainer. These roles provided Heather with ample experience of every facet of the insurance industry.
Heather joined the ISAA Insurance & Financial Services team as a Career Insurance Agent with a focus on customer care. She is now a Principal Partner Agent at ISAA and is on a mission to help individuals, families, and business owners retire strong by guiding them through financial wellness and creating long term wealth.
Lastly, Heather has been married for 30 years, has 2 children, a step-daughter, a son-in-law, and 3 granddaughters. She devotes much of her time to her family, volunteering with the PTSA at her daughter’s school, The Center for Smart Financial Choices, and working in the education ministry at her church.
